Used for cross-linking polyethylene for the production of wire, cable insulation, and sheathing materials. This product is an important cross-linking agent for cross-linking polyethylene. Compared with conventional peroxide cross-linking and radiation cross-linking, its cross-linking process features simple equipment, lower investment, and easy control. It is applicable to a wide range of polyethylene densities, suitable for the production of special fan-shaped cores, and has favorable extrusion speed and other characteristics. Because silane-cross-linked polyethylene has excellent electrical properties, good heat resistance, and resistance to stress cracking, it is widely used in the production of wires, insulation, and sheathing materials.
It is used for cross-linking polyethylene to produce heat-resistant pipes, hoses, and films. The cross-linked polyethylene made from this product as a cross-linking agent has the advantages of good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, oil, and stress cracking, high mechanical strength, good heat resistance, etc., and can be used for 50 years at 80°C. It can be used in long-distance oil pipelines, natural gas pipelines, and gas pipelines. It can be used for the anti-corrosion and heat-insulating outer protective layer of oil long-distance pipelines, natural gas pipelines, and gas pipelines, and the related anti-corrosion and heat-insulating heat-shrinkable sleeve material; it can be used for the overhead water pipe and hot water pipe of civil housing. It can also be used as a cross-linking agent for ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, chlorinated polyethylene, and ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer.
It can be copolymerized with an acrylic monomer to produce a special exterior wall coating called silicone-propylene exterior wall coating. This coating offers numerous properties, including weather resistance, dust resistance, and washability. It can be used for 20 years.
Modified polymers for special applications The product can be copolymerized with various monomers (e.g. ethylene, propylene, butene, etc.) or grafted and polymerized with appropriate resins to obtain modified polymers for special applications.
