Vinyl Silicone Oil CAS 26710-23-6

  • Case No. 26710-23-6
  • Molecular Formula C6H16OSi2

Properties: The main characteristics of vinyl silicone oil are colorless, odorless, non-toxic, non-volatile liquid, insoluble in water, benzene, dimethyl ether, carbon tetrachloride, or kerosene, and slightly soluble in acetone and ethanol. It has very low vapor pressure, high flash point and fire point, and low freezing point. With the number of chain segments varying from n to n, the molecular weight increases, and the viscosity also increases. This vinyl silicone oil can have a variety of solid viscosities. Vinyl silicone oil can mainly be terminated with vinyl polydimethylsiloxane (Vi-PDMS) and vinyl polymethyl vinyl siloxane (Vi-PMVS).

1. Used as the main material for the production of high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (HTV), with crosslinking agent, reinforcing agent, coloring agent, structure control agent, aging agent and other mixing and preparation of high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber raw rubber.

2. It is used to produce liquid silicone rubber, which is the main material for injection thermoforming silicone rubber.

3. This product and polyurethane, acrylic and other organic materials can be made into a new material with excellent performance (weather resistance, aging resistance, UV resistance, increased strength, etc.) (such as coatings is the production of various coatings and modified silicone oil and other important raw materials for the production of products).

4. It is the main raw material for additive molding of liquid silicone rubber, silicone casting compound, silicone gel, etc., and also a rubber mixing modifier.

5. It is the main raw material for additive molding of liquid silicone rubber, silicone pot, silicone gel, etc.; rubber mixing modifier; plastic additive, etc.

This product is a chemically active material, and should not be mixed with impurities (especially catalyst) during storage and transportation. When using or combining, attention should be paid to whether other materials can cause its chemical reaction in order to prevent denaturation.
