Organic silicon

Properties: Dimethicone silicone oil is a transparent, colorless, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic oily liquid. It has a high flash point, low freezing point, good thermal stability, high and low temperature resistance and other characteristics. It can be used for a long time under -50 ℃ - + 180 ℃, such as in air insulation or inert gas, and long-term use of temperatures up to 200 ℃. The surface tension of silicon is very small, the compression rate is good, anti-shear performance, the viscosity temperature coefficient is small, the dielectric loss is small; electrical insulation resistance, corona, non-flammable; water-repellent and moisture-proof, but also has good physiological inertia.

Properties: The main characteristics of vinyl silicone oil are colorless, odorless, non-toxic, non-volatile liquid, insoluble in water, benzene, dimethyl ether, carbon tetrachloride, or kerosene, and slightly soluble in acetone and ethanol. It has very low vapor pressure, high flash point and fire point, and low freezing point. With the number of chain segments varying from n to n, the molecular weight increases, and the viscosity also increases. This vinyl silicone oil can have a variety of solid viscosities. Vinyl silicone oil can mainly be terminated with vinyl polydimethylsiloxane (Vi-PDMS) and vinyl polymethyl vinyl siloxane (Vi-PMVS).

Application Area

It is used as insulating, lubricating, damping, shock-resistant, moisture- and dust-proof, high-temperature hydraulic oils and high-temperature heat transfer fluids, oils for filling transformers, as well as pressure signal transmission media for various types of pressure transducers.

Properties: Hydroxysilicone oil is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with a hydroxyl end group, an oily liquid. It has the characteristics of methyl silicone oil. Low-viscosity hydroxyl silicone oil is an excellent structure control agent in silicone rubber processing. It can replace diphenylsilanediol, simplify the process, and improve the process efficiency. In hydroxyl silicone oil, Si-O has high thermal stability; the Si-O-Si bond on the Si atom connected to the hydrocarbon group has a dipole induction effect, which can improve its stability. The structure of the silicone oxygen chain also gives silicone low surface tension and weak intermolecular forces, and hydroxyl silicone oil, due to its special structure, has excellent hydrophobicity. Viscosity can vary from very low to tens of thousands of Pa-sec. Its hydroxyl content is from several ten-thousandths to more than ten percent, typical hydroxyl silicone oil viscosity ≤ 40mPa - s (25 ℃), refractive index 1.4000 ~ 1.4100 (25 ℃), hydroxyl content 4% ~ 5%. The terminal hydroxyl group is reactive and can condense with hydroxyl or alkoxy compounds under the catalytic action of organotin.
