BK-1823 silane impregnating paste with an active ingredient content of 80% silane, the product can be used for protection of new concrete structures, as well as for reinforcement and repair of old concrete structures , effectively suppresses the destruction caused by various corrosive factors on reinforced concrete structures and significantly improves durability and service life of concrete structures .

The construction process
- Application method: brush, roll application, high-pressure airless spray.
- Recommended dosage: 300 g/m²
- Painting time: 1~2 times

Construction Guide
Specific age: new structures should be built after 4 weeks of curing concrete elements, and repair work - after 2 weeks of curing .
Before impregnation with silane, it is necessary to treat the concrete surface: (a) Remove obvious defects such as honeycombs, exposed reinforcing strands, holes and cracks with cement mortar; remove surface debris and loose attachments with a steel grinding traction; (b) Remove harmful substances and contaminants such as dust and oil that do not promote silane impregnation; (c) If concrete is used with a release or smoothing agent, determine the effect of the release or smoothing agent on silane impregnation by a test spray. Otherwise, it should be completely removed before impregnation with silane. Before spraying silane, the concrete surface should be dry and the moisture content of the concrete surface should not exceed 6% .
Structural equipment: For applying paste-like material to large areas, it is recommended to use high-pressure airless sprayer , which ensures high application efficiency and reduces raw material losses, and for small areas the painting method can be used with a brush or roller .
Service: After applying silane it is necessary 24 hours without rain , natural air drying.

Security measures
Avoid contact of this product with plants such as flowers and grass, and protect any items that should not be exposed to the solvent.
Should be worn protective glasses and gloves in accordance with the requirements during construction. In case of accidental inhalation, immediately move to a place with fresh air. In case of contact with skin, rinse immediately with water for 15 minutes ; in case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with more than 100 ml of water. 15 minutes , promptly remove contaminated clothing and shoes and seek medical attention if the condition is serious.
