1. Alkoxy-terminated polysiloxane can be widely used in electronic adhesives (bonding, sealing, fixing, thermal conductivity, coating, etc.), industrial adhesives (automotive electronics, solar energy, etc.), architectural glass adhesives (flow adhesives, mirror special adhesives, stainless steel special adhesives, structural adhesives, weatherproof adhesives, etc.) and other fields.
2. Alkoxy-terminated polysiloxane is a good organosilicon intermediate containing methoxyl-active groups that can be condensed with hydroxyl groups, grafted onto organic substances, slowly hydrolyzed in water, and condensed into resins. The resins exhibit excellent hydrophobicity, anti-stick properties, and aging resistance.
3. Alkoxy-terminated polysiloxane can also be used as a crosslinking agent for silicone rubber instead of ethyl orthosilicate.
4. It can be used as a release agent for pressure-sensitive adhesives and a foam stabilizer. Further hydrolysis can be used to produce a good defoamer, release agent, water-repellent, anti-stick paper coating, and fire-retardant dry powder for hydrophobic treatment of powders, as well as a silicon-containing demulsifier grafted to polyester for crude oil dehydration.
