1. Product introduction:

C9 petroleum resin is a kind of aromatic hydrocarbon resin obtained from C9 fraction, petroleum cracking products, through pretreatment, polymerization and distillation. It is not a high polymer, but a low polymer with a molecular weight between 300-3000. It has acid value, easy mutual solubility, water resistance, ethanol and chemical resistance. It has chemical stabilization of acid and alkali properties, viscosity adjustment and thermal stabilization. Generally, resins are not used alone, but should be used together with other kinds of resins as promoters, adjusting agents and modifiers.

2. Application:

a) . Paints

The paints mainly use C9 hydrocarbon resin with high softening point, C9 hydrocarbon resin added to the paints can increase the final finish of the paints, film adhesion and hardness. Resistance to acid and alkali.

b) Rubbers

Mainly used C9 hydrocarbon resin with low softening points, the resin has very good mutual solubility with natural rubber particles, does not affect the sulfurization of rubber.

c) Adhesives

Resins have very good adhesion, they can increase the adhesive adhesion, resistance to acid, alkali and water. Subsequently, they will reduce the production cost.

d) Printing inks

Generally, C9 hydrocarbon resins, which have high softening point, are used for printing inks, they have the effects of color spreading, fast drying and brightening, and improve the printing quality.
