The silane coupling agent in wire and cable is mainly used as a crosslinking agent and viscosity enhancing agent to impart the following properties to the material: improving the thermal deformation stability and mechanical strength of the modified material, improving the electrical properties of the modified material in the wet state, improving the chemical resistance of the modified material, increasing the amount of filler additive while improving processability.
