Silane technology has attracted more and more attention as the paint industry becomes more and more stringent in terms of VOC content and the need to improve the physical properties and extend the service life of coatings. Silane coupling agent is mainly used for filler modification, resin modification and primer modification in paint, which mainly plays the following roles: improving the adhesion, water resistance, weather resistance and abrasion resistance of the coating film to the substrate, improving the compatibility and dispersion of organic resin with pigment and filler, improving the crosslinking composition of base resin, and improving the surface hardness of the coating film.
