The outstanding advantage of BKTK-2H22 is its good compatibility and no conflict with water-based resins; it also has good stability in water-based system. Under the condition of low additive amount (less than 5% of solid resin) and neutral or weak cry (pH value in the range of 6-8.5), BKTK-2H22 can stably exist for more than 1 year in water-based system, which solves the shortcomings of traditional silane coupling agent that cannot be used in water-based system. BKTK-2H22 is mainly used in water-borne coating and adhesive industry, and the water-borne resins applied include carboxy or amino acrylic emulsions and polyurethane dispersions.
In water-based coatings and adhesives, it can improve solvent resistance, impact resistance and scratch resistance, enhance dry and wet adhesion, obtain a hard but still flexible coating, have no negative effect on the transparency and color of the cured film, and have high gloss retention after aging.
